There is something so rewarding about taking the time to put an outfit together for an evening out on the town. Lately with work basically taking up 24/7 of my life and T serving the nation, we’ve rarely found the time (or energy) to drag ourselves out of the house and have a nice dinner. Reasons why I love when the 14th of each month arrives. This means I have a reason to make T bring me to a nice place (my choice of course muahahah) to eat where I also force him to take my ootd and sit there staring at food while I spend 20 minutes taking photos.

That aside, I’m loving my new culottes from Monki in Europe!! The only one in Asia is in HK if I’m not wrong but I am absolutely in love with their clothes. My only regret is spending too much at the Adventure time store meaning I had to be very price conscious at Monki 😦 The culottes were only £10 (15SGD??). Side story- I was honestly coveting these pants for a good month or so on the online store so to have found them on sale in europe was a dream come true!!!! They are so light and airy making it perfect for the Singapore weather yet bring an edge to the outfit as compared to the usual high waisted shorts and mini skirts that everyone in SCAPE wears. I even wore them to work and the flow-y material allowed me to move around the cafe with ease. hehe can’t wait to wear them out more or not wear them at all until I’ve properly rotated all my new pieces of clothing wewewew. Hopefully I’ll get the Amsterdam photo diary up next cause the draft has just been sitting there…

bye-bye time for ballet hehe

No holiday is really complete without spending a day with Emae eating xlb’s and window shopping around town. We’ve been friends for about 12 years and it’s really quite humbling how she continues to be my friend even through my angsty 14 year old rage days HAHA. You can watch a snippet of what we did below!!!!!! Please do not judge my shit ass vlogging which I will do more of and hopefully improve on hur hur

Hope you enjoyed!! till next time :*

ps I don’t really understand why my videos can only be seen in 360p so sobs I am very sorry 😦

In an attempt to make proper use of our holidays, T and I have thought it’d be wise to get out pale asses into the sun before we look like we came out of Twilight. Side story: we purchased some high tech nivea lotion that was suppose to “protect and bronze” which I wanted to review. However I realised that it was rather hard to check if the sunscreen did it’s job because I would have to wait 50 years to see if I contracted skin cancer or not. The “bronzing” part worked quite well though. T had a visible tan line and if you know him you’d realise that his skin is as white as Karen Smith from Mean girls, if you know what I mean. Also check out my feeble attempts to wear some colour with the summery flowers that make you wanna prance around Gardens by the Bay and take an ootd with the caption “#summer”.

Have a great day

A crochet top to beat the heat and jeans cause my legs didn’t feel ready for town that night. Had a lovely dinner with my MG pals at Saveur. We originally wanted to try The Sushi Bar but they were packed /sobs/. Duck confit was good albeit a little lack lustre since I’ve eaten it quite a few times already (fat slob alert). Watched Maleficent after which was adorable despite a horrendously cheesy-cute ending. Nights out with them always remind me of the good old days where we took naps at the bamboo courtyard, ate too many jelly hearts and never listened to a word that came out of my chemistry teacher’s mouth.
